Join us for our 2nd Fall Service Unit Hike on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 11 am. Meet at the Harvey Manning Trailhead at Cougar Mountain (about 20-30 minutes from MI) for a beautiful fall hike led by Tiffin Goodman. All Girl Scout families are welcome! Hike will last about 2 hours and is appropriate for all levels. Bring good shoes, weather appropriate clothing, water and snacks. Directions: Take Exit 13 of of I-90 onto Lakemont Blvd SE. After crossing "The Pass," turn left onto SE Cougar Mountain Way. Continue to the Harvey Manning Trailhead (1,430 ft).

Join us for our first Mercer Island Girl Scout Fall Hike •Meet at: SW corner of the Pioneer Park northwest quadrant (corner of SE 68th Street and 84th Ave SE). Park along 84th Ave SE. Easy hike for all ages for about 1 hour. •Lead by Outdoor Champions Kate Akyuz and Tiffin Goodman 2021-2022 Info Session: Sunday, Sept 12 @ 2pm @ Redeemer Lutheran Church. Fun for girls. Info for parents. Troops for all levels K-12. Join 300 girls and 30 troops on MI. Make friends, sell cookies, camp, earn badges, be outside, leadership development for girls! Girl Scout Troops are now forming for the 2021-2022 school year for Kindergarten, 1st grade and up. Most troops meet monthly and enjoy earning badges, camping, crafts, service, and most importantly friendship and having fun together! Mercer Island Girl Scouts sold 11,921 packages of Girl Scout cookies in 2021 with the average girl selling a whopping 161 boxes! Congratulations to the Top Troops/Top Sellers on MI: •Brownie Troop 42880 sold 2,826 boxes - top sellers Chelsea V. with 701 boxes! and Genvoveva H. with 600! •Junior Troop 46480 sold 1,005 - top seller Quinn O. with 523 boxes •Senior Troop 43991 sold 977 - top seller Elise M. with 527 •Junior Troop 46543 sold 958 •Junior Troop 46755 sold 929   Thanks to Class of 2021 Troop 42701 and MIHS Senior Eden Voss, Mercer Island Girl Scouts enjoyed a calligraphy workshop on Feb. 26th. Participants also received a free kit prior to the workshop. What fun!
 Thanks, Lori D, for leading the GNOMS/Fun Friday January Event teaching everyone how to make Ina Garten's Lemon Sunshine Bread! Girls learned fancy cooking terms like Mise en Place and even did some Mindfulness Practice at the end! Thanks, Lori D!
